Bancroft replaced 9 AHUs in the facility. AHU numbers 6, 110A, 105, 404, 401,111, 108, 2 and 4 are all in varying degrees of disrepair and need to be replaced. Project will be done in phases to keep from taxing of adjacent AHU’s and power systems.
Continued ease of maintenance is instrumental to the design of this project, and includes all electric, plumbing, coil cleaning and filter replacement. All pneumatic controls were replaced with direct digital controls that tie into both Building Management Center and the Operations Plant. Temporary systems may be required in some instances to keep facility running without shutdown. Other locations will have units placed adjacent to existing one eliminating need for temporary units.
